Essential Functions:
Able to prepare and review individual federal and multi-state income tax returns Able to prepare and review business federal and California income tax returns - Corporation (C and S) - Partnerships - LLCs - Fiduciary - Not for profit organizations Communicate with and manage staff - Schedules - Organize work flow - Target deadlines Able to respond to tax notices received from various taxing agencies Able to coordinate tax compliance - Tax audits - Collection issues Special projects that are assigned Able to manage people Requirements BS/BA in accounting or related field CPA license Strong communication skills both written and verbal are required Attention to detail Ability to self-direct and meet deadlines Working knowledge of MS Office (primarily Outlook, Excel and Word) Lacerte experience a plus Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
