Vehicle Description Very beautiful 1970 Ford MACH 1.
This MACH 1 is very clean it has a 351-Cleveland with a three speed FMX automatic transmission.
It has new Calypso Coral paint (2006 always garaged) w/ black stripes, MACH 1 rocker trim, rear window louvers, black hood scoop with turn signals The engine bay on this car is very clean and well taken care of.

The interior has new carpet, new seat foam and seat coverings.
Originally came as a 351-2V engine now has a 4 barrel Holley (780 cfm) carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake.
Power steering, power disc brakes (front) drum rear.
Has a front spoiler.
We bought the car used from Galpin Motors, it was 6 months old and had 8,000 miles on it.
When we bought the MACH 1 in January 1971 it came in Calypso Coral, no power steering, no disc brakes or fold down rear seat.
Now has factory power steering, factory disc brakes and the factory fold down rear seat.
The car was taken off the road in 1993 after 280,000 miles to have the engine rebuilt.
Life got in the way and during this time we moved and the Mustang was put on hold.
Original work on the engine and transmission was done in 1993/95.
The engine was removed in 2020 and the cam and lifters were replaced to a more street user friendly one.
Also the piston rings were replaced and the cylinders were re-honed as the engine had set for so many years, even though it had only about 2 hours on it.
Work started again in 2017 and back on the road in late 2020.
This was not a restoration, it is a resto-mod set up the way I wanted my MACH 1 to be.
That said a lot of the parts and decals are factory correct.
The car looks stock both outside and inside however it does set about 2 lower overall.
It has under 100 miles on it since engine rebuild.
